HOW IS BLIND DEVOTEE DIFFERENT FROM TRUE DEVOTEE OF NATION

Let’s understand the psychology of blind and true devotees. How a true devotee helps in growth and prosperity of self, society, and country.

Who is Devotee?

Devotee (Bhakt in Hindi) is someone who relentlessly unconditionally surrenders oneself to his/her devotion and his/her devotion could be in God/some religion/some person/some ideology/some group/country or anything in which he/she believes in with or without any rational thinking.

When does devotion becomes are problem?

There is no problem in your devotion if you are not harming yourself or others either intentionally or unintentionally. But the moment your devotion generates emotion of hate towards others, disrespects others, infringes the freedom of others, it creates an atmosphere of disharmony among people which if not controlled in time can lead to disaster. Disaster of a blind irrational belief turning into real crimes, violence, destruction making life a misery for all.

1. Devotee of nation
2. Blind devotee of some political leader/party/ideology.

1)    6 typical traits of a Devotee of the nation

A true devotee has only one priority i.e. his nation.

1. They do not have any vested interest. They rise above all their pains, all their personal needs and wants to work for the benefit of their nation. In fact, their foremost priority is nation.
2. No fear, greed or anybody can distract or influence them negatively. They are courageous and work fearlessly, relentlessly for their nation, and for the people of the nation.
3. A true national devotee even has courage to stand up against his superiors/party leaders/country leaders if their actions are against their country.
4. When they feel some threat to their country, they question their leaders, bring about a change in leadership if needed, but they will never preach & promote in any way anything which is against the interest of people/society/nation and the world.
5. A true national devotee shall always preach and practice love, peace, and prosperity for all without any discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, region, race, sex, or country. For him/her top priority is humanity.
6. When needed a true national devotee is also ready to reply, respond in a most aggressive way to combat any aggression external or internal.

2)    6 typical traits of Blind Devotee

On the other hand, BLIND DEVOTEE works as a puppet under the direction of any political leader/party/ideology.

1. He has lost all his rational thinking and is ready to do anything to prove his blind beliefs right and those opposing as wrong/bad people.
2. For blind devotees their belief is superior to humanity, any society and nation.
3. They even go to the extent of not only verbal abuse but physical violence to prove themselves right.
4. Blind devotion is a fanatical ideology which in most cases is based on hate politics.
5. For blind devotees their leader is like God, and they blindly follow him/her without any logical reasoning. They never question their leader. They falsely presume their leader to be the only right person and they tag his opponents as traitors.
6. Blind devotees and their leaders do not focus on issues of health, wealth, prosperity of people and nation but their action is always of hate, division, of creating illusionary fear among people.

How a Fanatic Leader controls Blind Devotee?

A fanatic leader never wants their BLIND DEVOTEE to become educated, aware, to become prosperous as he/she very well knows that if they become so, their blind devotion will end.

6 ways on how someone becomes a blind devotee.

First, we must understand how a person becomes a blind devotee or how a Leader makes someone blind devotee?

1. He touches the pain areas of masses in an emotional manner which draws people towards them. He promises instant solutions to all problems and people start to view him as God or messenger of God. But he/she only talks of past problems or illusionary problems having no solutions.
2. They create a fear of some illusionary problems which might take place in future if people do not follow him/her.
3. To further gain trust/belief of people, fanatic leader uses mass media, and social media where most people will affirm the correctness, or supremacy of a fanatic leader or some ideology. When someone sees and listens from everybody, everywhere about the correctness of something, it becomes a belief in him/her although it might not be true.
4. Fanatic leaders even create some small or big violent real situations just to prove their belief/ideology right and to prove opponents or some groups as real culprits.
5. To gain more trust these self-styled supreme leaders keep on making promises for the future, keep on selling hope but never give results or solutions.
6. Their strategy is to divide and rule people.

Remember one thing, no country can prosper if its society & politics are dominated by blind devotees who are puppets of a few fanatic leaders. So, what is the solution, are blind devotee’s bad people. It is not that they are bad people; it is just that their natural intelligence has been clouded by false impression of some fanatic leaders who controls their mind by creating some false promises, false/fake news, illusionary problems etc.

How to check and correct blind devotion.

It is our responsibility and duty to check and correct the virus of blind devotion. If left unattended it can weaken any country economically, socially, and politically, making the lives of citizens miserable. The country will then face the threat of external aggression and may even become a puppet of big capitalist countries.

Any positive transformation can’t be possible in any society if people neglect their responsibilities. It is only we who can change society; nobody else will do it for us, not even our so-called godly leaders.

The core problem that propagates blind devotion is biased perception, and the only solution is working on it.

1)    Working on our perception.

Work on your own perception first before correcting others. If we can master the art of seeing the truth as it is, only then nobody can influence us negatively. The best way to judge anything is by observing it, watching it with a cool & calm mind, by practicing silence and patience. This activates our natural intelligence which helps us to see the truth and no bias, no negativity, no darkness, and/or no blind beliefs can sustain in the light of truth. This helps us make conscious/thoughtful/rational decisions leading to the death of any blindness.

2)    Raise voice against all evils in society.

As a true devotee it is our duty to raise voice against all evils in society without any fear. We can use social media and/or write mails and letters to the concerned authorities. And social media is the easiest, comfortable, and fastest way to do that. Anything brought to the notice of masses and authorities forces the authorities to act.

Generally, people remain silent if they are not the victims. Don’t worry, your silence promotes such bad elements and if not today but you will become a victim tomorrow, for sure.

3)    Stop spread of fake news.

As a true devotee it is our duty to stop the spread of fake news, and to help people understand the truth. This will help curb the fake news.

The fake news might not have any concern with you today but who knows tomorrow it might knock your door. So, act before it becomes a problem for the whole country including you and then it would be too late.

4)    Dealing with a blind devotee?

A mind filled with the darkness of hate, illusion, fear, greed, blind beliefs, anger can only be lightened by truth, by enhancing awareness in following ways: –

• First listen to them and then answer them giving full information with proof.
• Don’t get disturbed by their rash, irrational behaviors and remain silent and don’t react negatively to their negativity.
• If they are citing any information and you know that it’s fake, tell them to go in depth, do some research and find proof.
• Ask them to check not the promises but the actions of their leaders.
• Help people understand the consequences of hate, violence, inequality, irrational anger, etc.

So, be a true devotee, follow love, follow humanity, follow your nation, follow the world but stay away from any blind devotion, any hate politics, have courage to stand against evil and then peace and prosperity will follow.
